I'd like to take some time to explain this website's policy towards piracy, and especially the illegal downloading of ebooks, films, and other digital files.

People who illegally torrent files of copyright material harm the entertainment industry by depriving it of money to invest in new projects. Moreover, this activity directly harms creators of films, books and music.

Piracy puts creative people under a lot of stress, and forces them to waste time policing the internet and worrying about their lost income, when most would much rather be working on their latest masterpiece.
